Numminen Piano Festival. Solo recital

The Numminen Piano Festival is an intimate and artistically ambitious piano festival held annually in Numminen, Finland, at Tapahtumatalo Numminen. Taking place around midsummer, the festival brings internationally acclaimed pianists and outstanding young artists to a rural setting, creating a unique atmosphere where high-level piano music meets closeness, concentration, and community. The festival presents classical, contemporary, and jazz piano music, with thoughtfully curated programs that emphasize artistic depth and individuality.
The festival is led by artistic director Henri Lidsle, whose vision focuses on combining established masters with emerging voices and on creating meaningful encounters between performers, repertoire, and audience.
The festival’s performers include distinguished artists such as Olli Mustonen, Aki Rissanen, Verneri Pohjola, Mackenzie Melemed, as well as a new generation of internationally active pianists. This diverse lineup reflects the festival’s openness to different musical traditions and approaches.
As part of the Numminen Piano Festival 2025, the Estonian pianist Tähe-Lee Liiv appears in a solo recital at Tapahtumatalo Numminen on Saturday, 28 June 2025 at 19:00.
